from 95.00

Join the Dogwood Dyer and Hiho Batik for a creative and sustainable Earth Day Workshop for all ages! You will learn about many of the plants, minerals and natural substances from which color can originate, as well as the technical basics of natural dyeing such as extraction, mordanting and garment care.

Employ the batik process to create your own designs and come to know an artisan technique that has been in use for centuries on textiles. Each participant will leave with 3 cotton bandanas.

Celebrate Earth Day 2015 by learning a new skill utilizing nature's diverse palette! The Dogwood Dyer & Hiho Batik collaboration of limited edition all natural dyed onesies will also be debuted on Earth Day.
